Part 1

파트 1.. 보통 사진 묘사 문제라고들 합니다. 말 그대로 사진을 보고 들리는 것 중에서 사진을 가장 잘 묘사한 것이 답이 됩니다.
가장 쉬운 파트라고 생각 되지만, 20문제 다 맞추는 사람은 별로 없습니다. 700 점 이상을 목표로 하신다면 최소한 17~18개 이상은 맞추어야 합니다. 그리고 출제 되었던 것이 계속해서 비슷하게 출제 되므로 되도록 많은 표현들을 암기하고 있으면 유리하겠죠..

1. 그림을 장소와 상황별로 나누어 각 장소나 상황에서 반드시 익혀두어야 할 단어를 정리해야 합니다.
   예를들면, 공항, 기내, 거리, 버스, 택시, 공원, 레스토랑, 정원, 실험실등.

   ex) At the airport: passport, passenger, attendant, ticket counter, security guard, claim area, baggage, luggage, waiting area, porter, luggage cart, customs.

2. 유사 발음어와 동음 이의어를 사용하여 답안을 혼동케 합니다.
   따라서 유사발음과 동음 이의어를 따로 정리해 두어야 합니다.

   ex)car/cart    ship/sheep/sheet    cap/cab    hat/head    broom/bloom    flower/flour    sale/sail    saw/sow

3. 그림에서 소수의 사람이 등장하는 경우 서술되는 동사를 통해 수를 확인해야 합니다.

   ex) The men are getting into the car.
         The man is getting into the car.

4. 파트 1에서는 출제되었던 문제가 또 출제 됩니다.
   (물론 그림은 약간씩 다르지만), 다음의 지문들은 계속해서 토익에 출제되고 있는 문장들입니다.

• The box is being loading a truck. --> 짐이 트럭에 실리고 있는 장면
• People using the escalators. --> 사람들이 에스컬레이터를 타고 있는 장면
• The taxis are lined up at the curb. --> 길 모퉁이에서 택시가 늘어서 정차해 있는 모습
• The people are waiting in line. --> 사람들이 줄 서 있는 모습
• It is partly cloudy in the city. --> 하늘에 구름이 끼여있는 모습
• The audience is watching a performance. --> 관객들이 연주를 보고 있는 모습
• The tractor is moving the pile of snow. --> 눈을 치우고 있는 트랙터 모습
• Notices have been tacked to the message borad. --> 메모장에 꼿힌 메모
• The trucks are parked side by side. --> 차가 주차되어 있는 모습
• He is stapling some papers together. --> 서류를 철하고 있는 모습
• People(pedestrians) are crossing the street. --> 길을 건너는 사람들 모습
• The man is making a presentation. --> 발표하는 모습
• The woman is emptying the bucket. --> 휴지통을 비우는 모습
• She is pinning some papers on the bulletin board. --> 메모를 핀으로 꼿는 모습
• The street closed for repairs. --> 공사중
• The cars are pulled over to the sides of the road. --> 정차 되어지는 차들
• People are shopping for food. --> 쇼핑
• The stacks of boxes on the carts are being moved. --> 상자가 실린 수레가 옮겨지는 모습
• The woman is braiding her hair. --> 머리를 따고 있는 여자
• The women are buying goods off the shelf. --> 물건을 선반에서 골라 사는 모습
• The crosswalk is filled with pedestrians. --> 횡단보도를 건너는 보행자 모습
• Horses are in the shade. --> 그늘에 있는 말
• The bridge spans the river. --> 강에 놓여 있는 다리 모습
• The men are raking leaves in the park.--> 나뭇잎을 끍어 모으는 모습
• He is taking the drinks out of refrigerator.--> 음료수를 냉장고에서 꺼내는 모습
• The buliding overlooks the pool area. --> 수영장 위쪽에 있는 빌딩 모습
• They are standing in a small circel. --> 사람들이 둥글게 서있는 모습
• He is boarding the bus. --> 버스를 타는 모습
• He is typing something on the keyboard. --> 컴퓨터 자판을 치는 모습
• Traffic in moving in both directions. --> 양방향 차선으로 차가 달리는 모습
• The man is unloading the packages. --> 짐을 내리는 모습
• She is sipping the drink. --> 음료수를 한 모금 마시는 모습
• The road parallels a river. --> 강과 평행한 길 모습
• The tale is set for dinner. --> 식사상이 차려진 모습
• A boat passess under the bridge. --> 다리를 지나가는 보트
• A boat is approaching the bridge. --> 다리에 다가서는 보트
• The doctor is pointing the picture. --> 사진을 손으로 가르키는 모습
• His arms are crossed over. --> 팔짱을 끼고 있는 모습
• He is putting away his belongs. --> 물건을 치우고 있는 모습
• The man is working at the desk. --> 일하고 있는 모습
• The man is looking over the fence. --> 담장 너머를 바라보는 모습
• Stacks of plates are on the counter. --> 쌓여져 있는 접시 모습
• The room is in neat order. --> 정돈이 잘 된 방의 모습
• The desk needs to be put in order.(= The desk is cluttered) --> 지저분한 책상 모습
